The Mendham group commenced with Mendham Engineering in the engine reconditioning and general engineering industry in 1948, in a small building at the family home of Alf Mendham Senior, in the Brisbane suburb of Yeronga. After 2 Years relocated to larger premises which which were self built on an industrial site at nearby Moorooka.
Mendham Machinery officially commenced in 1988 and has grown to be one of the largest Engine reconditioning equipment suppliers in Australia.
The Engineering workshop at Moorooka was outgrown after 22 years, which included 3 building extensions and in February 1972 we moved to 1776 Ipswich Road, Rocklea, in the heart of a large industrial area of the south west of Brisbane. We continued to update our operation by installing the best equipment available to us and building our reputation by maintaining a high level of service. We have also been very active in the development of the engine reconditioning trade in Australia and have kept in close touch with changes overseas.
In 1985 we entered the machinery sales field and we can now offer an ever expanding range of new and used engine reconditioning machines and equipment. We feel that our "hands on" experience in the trade qualifies us to give sound and helpful advice to anybody considering the purchase of machines or equipment.
In December 2008 we moved to larger premises at 1800 Ipswich Road, Rocklea, where Mendham Engineering and Mendham Machinery are in the same larger more modern building. This will allow Mendham Machinery to hold a larger range of equipment available for sale.
Our company policy is not just to sell a product, but to ensure the suitability of the product for the needs of the individual customer and their financial capacity.
We offer the industry a comprehensive and reliable service and look forward to helping your company when you are updating your workshop equipment |
