The Mendham group of companies commenced in 1948 with a small workshop at the family home of Alf Mendham Senior, in the Brisbane suburb of Yeronga. The original company was Mendham Engineering which is still working today in the engine reconditioning and the general engineering industry.
After 2 Years at this address they relocated to larger premises which were self built on an industrial site at nearby Moorooka. Over the years the Engineering workshop at Moorooka was extended several times to accommodate the growing company until that property was outgrown after 22 years.

In February 1972 the equipment was moved to a new workshop at 1776 Ipswich Road, Rocklea, in the heart of a large industrial area of the south west of Brisbane. This workshop was added to over the years until after 36 years this property was also outgrown.

The machinery in the Engineering company is updated periodically to maintain a high quality of equipment for our operation of engine reconditioning and general engineering.
In 1985 we entered the machinery sales field and we can now offer an ever expanding range of new and used engine reconditioning machines and equipment. We feel that our "hands on" experience in the trade qualifies us to give sound and helpful advice to anybody considering the purchase of machines or equipment. Mendham Machinery officially commenced in 1988 and has grown to be one of the largest Engine reconditioning equipment suppliers in Australia.
In December 2008 we moved next door to larger premises at 1800 Ipswich Road, Rocklea, where Mendham Engineering and Mendham Machinery are together in the same larger more modern building. This will allow Mendham Machinery to hold a larger range of equipment available for sale.

Our company policy is not just to sell a product, but to advise the suitability of the product for the needs of the individual customer and their financial capacity.
We offer the industry a comprehensive and reliable service and look forward to helping your company when you are updating your workshop equipment
